Making a mistake at work is not as bad as your attempt to cover it up.
Say “yes” to clients, but explain that by agreeing to do something for them, something else might be lost.
Use your expertise to work on minor issues while waiting for response on larger work issues, or items.
Start any working relationship with a clear set of expectations.
Share bad news in bulk, whereas spread the good news over a longer period of time for maximum positive effect.
Strive to bring everything you do back to the objectives of the project.
Although finishing a task faster means it will be less than perfect, it’s still the best option in time-sensitive matters.
Inform your clients about every step you take in the process of working for them.
Take the blame for something that goes wrong if that means moving forward in terms of work engagements.
Once in a while surprise your clients to remind them of your amazing abilities in case they’ve taken them for granted.
